synopsis (first draft)

Greg is a television news reporter in Minneapolis in his late 20's. A rising star in the local news world (having gotten a gig in a top 20 market right out of college). He travels back home to Wisconsin for his biological fathers funeral. He hadn't seen or spoken to his father in 6 years. They had a falling out and it was not mended. Greg is close to his mother, step-father, and the rest of his family. During Greg's time back home he meets up with old friends and connects with an old flame and in the end he may or may not discover what is missing in his life.
